Questions
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to give my name or contact details to see quotes?
Not at all. Our quoting system only requires six pieces of information: biological gender, your date of birth, your assessed wellness level, tobacco and nicotine consumption, the benefit quantity desired, and the coverage term preferred. Those six answers suffice to deliver carrier quotes. Sharing your name, street address, or medical specifics occurs only after you decide to move forward with an application.
Are the monthly prices shown the price I will pay?
These represent the premium figures that each carrier is quoting based on the underwriting tier you chose. Following your application, each company performs its own medical and financial evaluation, which may keep you in your selected tier, move you to a superior one, or reassign you to another tier. The actual policy document determines all coverage and rates; these quotes are informational only and don't guarantee any specific amount.
What happens when I click Apply?
You'll enter your name, which generates an application prefilled with your responses from the quote process. The application then moves to the insurers' own secure platform. You're able to stop and pick it back up later, and you complete the signature process electronically. Susman Insurance Agency, operating under California License 0B75129, facilitates the entire process.
Will I need a medical exam?
That determination depends on three factors: the particular carrier, your coverage amount, and the details you provide. Companies offering fast-track approval can assess qualified applicants without a physical test. When an exam is ordered, each specific quote displays whether testing is mandatory, possible, or not necessary.
Is a longer term better?
The appropriate duration should match the period during which dependents face financial hardship from your death: remaining mortgage payments, parental obligations, student loans. Longer periods cost more monthly but establish your rate for a longer duration. You can request quotes across 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30 year options side-by-side to evaluate.
Does this site sell my information?
No. The quoting interface doesn't request identifying information, and we don't participate in data sales, broker agreements, or external tracking code. Our visitor measurement lacks cookies or trackers. Our privacy statement outlines the precise data categories and entities involved in collection.
